The garden area offered a nice relaxation spot after exploring nearby landmarks like Goodrich Castle. Breakfast was a highlight, and I appreciated the warm service from Paul.

Overall it was spotless with a view.

The hotel is very well located, large, clean bedroom with lovely views over River Wye. Restaurant was good value for money.

With room on second floor, the stairs could be a problem for some people.

I had a fantastic Easter stay! The hotel offers such a great location with stunning views of the river, and the Victorian windows make breakfast a special experience. Speaking of breakfast, the menu was amazing, and the friendly staff...  

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. Right from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Paul was particularly charming and polite.

The room was beautiful, the food excellent and amazing value. We look forward to coming again as soon as we can. I would highly recommend it.
